Description of the research activity
MINTOTA, created in 1988, has been recognized as a PROMETEO group of excellence by the Generalitat Valenciana since 2012. The current research interests are: analytical chemistry; nanomaterials; chromatography; on-site analysis; sensors and biosensors; chemistry metrology; instrumental analysis; environmental science; Health; security; agri-food; miniaturization; tube solid phase microextraction; online methods, instrumental portability . It has a laboratory that integrates a large number of instrumental techniques. The research has been carried out in the context of around thirty research projects.
The WORK carried out has been reflected in publications in scientific magazines of international prestige, presentations at conferences, theses, final degree and master projects and obtaining four patents. The group conducts research that has the added value of multidisciplinarity and multisectorality , through the stable collaborations that MINTOTA has established with other national and international research groups, and also with other public and private sectors. Furthermore, its ultimate goal is to contribute to society.
